A targeted email campaign works wonders. Certainly, it could be hard to believe that anybody still opens up e-mail solicitations in the 21st Century , but there is a reason why companies still pay thousands upon thousands of dollars for bulk e-mail services! That reason in fact is that it works. A targeted email campaign can get your message to the very individuals who would almost certainly be receptive to it, to the services and products you have to offer. Being targeted, it’s not spam and less likely to be treated that way. You will remain in their good graces – in addition to those of your ISP or bulk emailing handler! – even if no sale is made (this time around!). And lastly, one doesn’t have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a regular basis, either.

Many bulk-mail services won’t divulge the e-mail addresses for self-evident reasons, but how do you know then if you’re even getting to the correct people or the right types of companies?
You don’t. Therefore the satisfaction of compiling your own directory utilizing software called e-mail harvesters which scour the internet and collect e-mail addresses for you – but you will need to clean the resulting list yourself for redundancies and the like!
