Rent That Undermines StartUp Success

I once believed that starting a company similar to Lafnac Digital Computers would be great. I mean, marketing electronics; that’s got to be gold, correct? Folks are consistently looking to get hold of the latest gizmo. And having a midtown Manhattan place that’s just blocks away from world- famous Times Square with its throngs of tourists, ready to shop; just how might anything be easier? But I’m older as well as smarter now, and even if I blatantly underreported my cash flow (heh heh) or even cheated customers outright it would be challenging to break even, much less turn out a limited profit. Precisely why so? Simple: the rent payments would be insane for such a location!
